DEAR BODY OF WATER was part of an exhibition with the University of Arizona College of Fine Arts titled “Ways of Knowing, Ways of Being: Arts Research and Integration” at the Center for Creative Photography in Fall 2023. The exhibition featured cross-disciplinary projects along with workshops and class visits demonstrating arts research methods and encouraging diverse approaches, investigating alternative ways of knowing and facilitating situations of alternative ways of being with varied subjects.

An undercurrent of arts research around Dear Body of Water questioned: How might we cultivate care for overlooked ecologies including bodies of water, both far afield and right where we are?
